The Dahua S3010-8ET2ET-60 provides eight 10/100Mbps
PoE ports and two 10/100Mbps uplink ports for connecting IP cameras and other
compatible devices. It supplies power and data through Ethernet cabling,
helping simplify small CCTV installations in shops, offices, and homes.
With a 60W total PoE budget, support for IEEE
802.3af/at, and up to 30W per PoE port within that shared budget, it supports
straightforward installation without managed-switch configuration.
Eight PoE
connections: Connect compatible cameras while reducing the need for
individual power adapters.
Two separate
uplink ports: Connect your recorder and wider network without occupying
camera ports.
Plug-and-play
operation: The unmanaged design makes setup straightforward.
Long-distance
mode: A DIP switch enables transmission up to 250 metres on ports 1–8, with
negotiation speed reduced to 10Mbps. Actual results depend on cabling and
connected equipment.
Fanless
metal housing: Provides passive cooling without fan noise.
Flexible
mounting: Supports desktop placement or wall mounting.
Pros: Simple
installation, dedicated uplinks, silent cooling, and an extended-distance
option.
Cons: No
Gigabit ports or managed configuration; the 60W power budget is shared;
extended-distance operation reduces bandwidth.
Consider this model for a small surveillance
installation where you want camera connections gathered at one point. For a
shop, that could mean connecting cameras covering the entrance, counter,
aisles, and storeroom.
Before choosing it, calculate the cameras’ combined
maximum power requirements, including night lighting. Leave practical headroom
for cable losses and check the total video traffic passing through the
recorder’s connection. Port count alone does not determine whether a switch
suits your installation.

Q: Can all
eight ports supply 30W simultaneously?
A: No. Each
supports up to 30W, but total PoE output is limited to 60W.
Q: Are the
uplink ports Gigabit?
A: No. Both
uplinks support 10/100Mbps.
Q: Does it
record camera footage?
A: No. It
connects devices and supplies PoE power. Recording requires a suitable recorder
or recording system.
Q: When
should I use long-distance mode?
A: Use it
when a longer cable run is necessary and the connected camera’s bandwidth
requirements fit the reduced link speed.
Q: What is
the price of Dahua S3010-8ET2ET-60 PoE Switch?
A: The price Dahua S3010-8ET2ET-60 PoE Switch around BDT 3,300 to BDT 3,800.
